Department of Ras Shastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana Pharmacy

There is a separate block for this department which covers around 5,000 sq feet of ground area. It consists of an office, a practical lab, and also a self-sustaining well equipped pharmacy, to meet the needs of the hospital.

The lab is designed aesthetically and is fitted with all necessary equipment which works to fulfill the requirements of the hospital and also provides patients (indoor as well as outdoor) with best quality care that too under the true vigilance of experts of the field.

A unique collection of around 200 sample drugs is used in the department along with models of ancient instruments used in preparation of Ayurvedic medicines.

The whole setup serves the BAMS students and also fulfills the requirement of the DPharma (Bhaishajyakalpak) students. This gives students an experience enabling them to work in any pharmacy anywhere.

Along with these other departments such as department of Basic Principles, Department of Swasthvritta , Department of Agadh Tantra and Vyavhar Ayurveda, etc. are also well established and working in full swing.
